I’m a photojournalist and audio producer from Queens, New York.

I produce and manage Radio Rookies, the award-winning youth media program at WNYC, and work with teens and young adults to produce stories about their lives and communities, like this one

Folashade Olatunde’s dad went to prison when she was two years old. She used to visit him all the time with her mom — until her parents got divorced. Now, it’s been more than a decade since she saw her father. Folashade shares a series of open and honest audio diaries as she invites listeners on her journey to reconnect with her dad.

Previously, I was as a senior photojournalist and multimedia reporter at St. Louis Public Radio. There, I covered the aftermath of the uprising in Ferguson. I also reported on a shady private company that collects fees from people awaiting trial and the movement to end cash bail.

I’m most proud of this podcast episode I reported and produced for 70 Million about the fight to shut down a notorious local jail called “The Workhouse.”
