To capture student excitement for Civics for All Week, I worked with high school senior Katelyn on this reel, which quickly became one of The Bell’s most-shared Instagram videos. I came up with a shot list, remotely directed Katelyn, scripted the reel in her voice and edited the final video. I also reached out to Civics for All, a project of NYC Public Schools, to pitch the video as a collaborative co-post for additional reach. Shot on iPhone, by Katelyn, and edited in CapCut, by me.

I worked with the co-founders of POC — a lifestyle brand focused on events and clothing — to script, shoot and edit a vérité-style Reel for the launch of the brand’s first t-shirt, incorporating multiple rounds of notes and changes throughout the editing process. Shot on Canon EOS M200 and 5D Mark IV and edited in Adobe Premiere.

On Friday nights, and most other days, Jaheem Washington is a performer. He’s the starting running back for the Palmetto Ridge football team, an integral part of one of the area’s most prolific offenses, and the co-center snare drum for the marching band, which he joins during halftime of games for its performances.
